A 40+ year career in banking, mainly spent in the City of London and in Asia. Worked for US, European and Japanese banks. Final position as divisional head based in Singapore. Experienced in all sectors of banking and finance including derivatives, FX, corporate banking, project finance, leasing etc. Industry specialisms in oil & gas, media and telecomms, supply chain management, real estate. A passion for HR and recruitment.Was a member of the graduate recruitment and induction team.For last 4 years have been acting as a work and employability mentor/coach for Shaw Trust which entails assisting disadvantaged people seeking work, or returning to the workplace.Also a Masterclass presenter for Career Ready, assisting sixth form students prepare for the transition from study to work, or further education.
