Our First In-Person Event at The University of Kent

Graduate Mentor CIC took to the road this month and ran our first IN-PERSON presentation at the University of Kent “Life After Uni” event. The event, on 12th February 2025, was a series of talks and workshops, aimed at students who are about to graduate, but who don’t yet know what they want to do. Perfect!

We were kindly represented by one of our official partners, Neil Sims from Oakwood Agency, who made the trip from Bristol, manned the stand in the foyer and gave a short introductory presentation.

Kathy Moulton, Employer Engagement Officer at The University of Kent said,

"The 'Life After Uni' pop up event was held to encourage students to consider recruiters as an additional tool to their job hunt. Recruitment agencies and mentors can offer great advice on how to get a foot in the door – often, that’s the hardest stage of a job hunt. Neil was able to offer an interesting and personal perspective to students from Graduate Mentor CIC, which was much appreciated."
